The New Community Church Worship Arts Ministry includes the praise team, computer/screen graphics, sound, and video presentations, as well as plans for a drama team as God wills it for New community Church, and the church web site. We seek to serve God, our church family, and our ministry. We endeavor to provide a great worship experience that is pleasing to God, and to create a safe place for all participants to use their talents, grow their talents, and grow their lives closer to the One who gave all of us our talents.

Anyone who has experienced the blessing of praising God in song (either vocally or instrumentally) knows that it has a monstrously positive impact on the worshipper's body and soul. We have been hugely blessed and impacted by the opportunity to serve God and New Community in the company of and through the joint efforts of our fellow vocalists, musicians and technicians.

		Praise Team

New Community's praise team is led by Beth Schwind. Ours is not a closed group, so if God has gifted you musically, either vocally or instrumentally...or both please contact Beth throuogh the church office at (419) 394-8111 to begin the process of becoming a member of the vocal team or band.

Rehearsals are ordinarily Tuesday evenings at 6:30 at the church with mic checks and pre-service run-through Sunday mornings at 8:30 am.

		Sound

Sound mixing for rehearsals and services is currently handled by Forrest Earl. As is the case with all ministries, if you are an experienced sound person or have the desire to learn and becoime part of the team, please contact Larry Stanfield through the church office (419-394-8111) or via email at lstanfield@newcommunitychurchstm.com .

		Computer/Screen Graphics

Graphics today consist mostly of PowerPoint slide shows for lyrics, sermon notes and announcements on the screens. Sincere thanks to Bob McCune for leadership of the team for the slideshows for rehearsals and Sunday morning services, and to Hanna Ellis for bing a willing servant as a PowerPoint operator. 		Drama

The Drama team is currently "on the horizon" and will take form as God wills for the New Community Church family. More information will be made available as we move forward. Even though it is a dream for the future, please talk to Larry Stanfield if you have experience or desire to participate in drama in a any capacity.
